Gbemidjade

ESMA is a professional training centre in visual and performing arts focused on sustainable socio-cultural development. It works to safeguard and promote its artistic heritage in Africa and internationally, and fights against extreme poverty.

The main objective of the "Gbemidjade" project ("shining light on my potential") is to strengthen the capacities of uncertified talents and to get these budding artists out of precariousness. Specifically, the aim is to train 240 vulnerable people (regardless of gender, race, age or disability) in visual and performing arts techniques, to introduce them into the network, and to establish a value chain for the promotion of their work.
