Trajectoire
The Centre de Développement Chorégraphique "La Termitière" aims to be an iconic location for contemporary African choreographic creation, guaranteeing artistic excellence. Here, creation is always conceived and carried out with the aim of distributing works and professionalising artists.
The "Trajectoire" project is part of the promotion of the creations of young West African choreographers using the importance of digital technology and networking. At the end of the project, 11 young dancer-choreographers and 5 cultural administrators will have benefited from training in creation, management and mastery of digital tools, and 5 works will be produced and distributed on the sub-regional and international markets.

The ADAV-NORD BENIN association has set itself the mission of multiplying, consolidating, professionalising and diversifying creative initiatives in order, on the one hand, to allow the fine arts to play their role as liberators of society's expressions and questions, and on the other hand, to bring together the best creative conditions for artists.
This training, research, creation and promotion programme in the audiovisual field, aimed at 15 young visual artists, 8 of whom are women, consists of three main phases: 1/ training in "art photography + retouching" and "art video + editing"; 2/ supporting the 15 participants in promoting their creations (press releases); 3/ organising artistic discovery activities for 250 pupils and 150 deprived children.
Projet de mobilisation communautaire pour l'éducation de la jeune fille en milieu rural
Troupe Pottal is the structure of the Centre d'Écoute, de Conseils et d'Orientation pour Jeunes (CECOJE) in charge of socio-educational activities. It produces awareness-raising sketches or short films, participatory theatre and educational stories. All of its activities contribute to the fight against gender-based violence (GBV), the promotion of the emancipation of young girls and positive masculinity.
The objective of this "community mobilisation project for the education of young girls in rural areas" is to intervene in villages where there is a low rate of schooling (or school completion) for young girls, in order to encourage them to study. Thus, 10 villages in the administrative region of Labé will be raise awareness of girls' education through participatory theatre performances.
Galsen Electronic
Kaani is a cultural association that produces international events such as Dakar Music Expo and Black Rock, and is also in charge of the ElectrAfique evenings, the collective with which it works to develop the Galsen Electronic project.
The "Galsen Electronic" project was conceived as a driver for creation, inclusion and development. It intends to set up solid links between the Casamance scene and its neighbouring city of Dakar in an effort to decentralise cultural activity that is too concentrated in the capital. The project will provide remote populations with training programmes in electronic music as well as creative spaces through the organisation of artistic residencies.
Lagos International Poetry Festival
Creative Africa Company, producer of the Lagos International Poetry Festival, is committed to training, empowering and showcasing cultural creators of African descent, with a strong bias towards young emerging voices, an inclination towards archiving new stories and narrative change.
Since 2015, the Lagos International Poetry Festival has brought together the world's leading writers, poets and thinkers from around the world. This year, this celebration of linguistic diversity returns with the theme "Babel... A New Language" to explore the ability of poetry, literature and art to speak of the common challenges facing humanity. It will take place as a hybrid experience, combining digital offerings and face-to-face events.
Wasséxo kplonnou, ou Contons les Objectifs de Développement Durable (ODD)
The Katoulati cultural association contributes to the growth of the creative economy and to human and sustainable development through theatre and storytelling. It is involved in artistic production and supports creations in production to entertain, educate and raise awareness.
The project "Wasséxo kplonnou, or Let's talk about SDO's" will use storytelling, slam and song to promote the objectives of sustainable development. The 10 artists selected for this mission will benefit from masterclasses and workshops to adapt traditional tales or produce new ones on the urgency and best practices of sustainable development. This production will result in a 5-show residency, 140 performances and podcast recordings.
ISIS ou la tragédie des corps dispersés
The CTDC's mission is to promote and defend cultural diversity through an organisational ecosystem of national operators and stakeholders in the arts and culture. Within the framework of this mission, the ISIS project resembles an international research laboratory on a new form of theatre that will later be called "Théâtre du souffle".
The objective of ISIS is to gather anthropological material linked to traditions and cults of possession and then to submit it to a scriptwriting process (in the form of tales, puppets, masks, etc.) in order to create an aesthetic of breath that animates the bodies and voices of the actors and pushes them into all the twists and turns of their performance. This research will result in a contemporary theatre show, on the route to a future theatrical aesthetic capable of inspiring the rest of the world.
Cinexale
The Yennenga Centre is the first cultural centre dedicated to cinema in Senegal. A true incubator, it offers training, support for the creation and distribution of films and audiovisual material. It aims to promote local cinema, accessible to all, and to introduce the younger generation to the impact of the image on society.
In 2019, the Yennenga centre launched "Cinexale" to develop a culture of cinema and the image among a young audience. During the first year, 25 children were able to participate in a creative programme, at the end of which 3 short films were made. The Yennenga Centre has been awarded a development fund in order to continue this initiative, to enable more children to benefit from it and to launch a film club specifically for 6-12 year olds.
Mon panégyrique, mon identité culturelle
The mission of the Humanist Writers Association of Benin is to make writing, books and reading tools and channels for socio-cultural development in Benin and Africa. It aims to become the leading book organisation in Benin, impacting at least 50,000 people by 2025 through various actions.
The "Akô" is an African custom from oral literature, a series of words of a laudatory nature that recounts the origins and achievements of a person, family, ethnic group or clan. In the face of modernity and industrialisation, this Beninese tradition is under threat. To safeguard it, the project intends to identify, collect and publish (books and CDs) clan panegyrics and train 30 young storytellers and slammers (15 women and 15 men) in composition and declamation.
Les Rencontres Musicales Africaines (REMA)
Identity, creativity and commitment are the values of La Cour de Naaba. Founded in 2007 to promote music in Burkina Faso, this association wishes to "make music a true vector for sustainable and visible social development on a daily basis. "
